Want to explore the detailed dioramas at the Manitoba Museum? Come sketch a vast array of “nature” under one roof!
Diorama Sketch Night will include a brief introduction to the Museum’s dioramas by Senior Exhibit Designer Jaya Beange, with a special guest appearance by Betsy Thorsteinson, retired Manitoba Museum diorama artist. Some basic drawing materials will be available for use (although you are welcome to bring your own). We welcome all skill levels for a laid back, informal evening of sketching.
This event is presented in partnership with MAWA (Mentoring Artists for Women’s Art).
