?✨ Exciting News from Native Youth Theatre! ??
Hey everyone! We’re thrilled to share some awesome updates from Native Youth Theatre for 2024! ? This year, we’re shaking things up and trying something totally new! Our Co-Director, Nova Courchene, came up with a super cool idea for our annual performance. Instead of our usual cabaret-style show, we’re transforming it into one big show with three parts, each with its own special story! ??
Here’s the scoop: all three acting classes at Native Youth Theatre are teaming up to create a magical adventure called “Oshki & Migizi and Living the Good Life.” ?? Each class is adding their own unique touch to the story! From the youngest Roots (ages 8-11) to the middle Saplings (ages 12-14) and finally, our awesome Next Generation (ages 14-18) class, everyone’s bringing their A-game! ??
Together with their amazing teachers and assistants, our talented students are diving into the world of storytelling. They’re creating characters, writing lines, and working as a team to make this the best play ever! ?✨
And guess what? “Oshki & Migizi and Living the Good Life” isn’t just any story. It’s all about important stuff like taking care of our planet ?, coming together as a community ?, and standing up for Mother Earth! ??

Get ready for a super special treat at Native Youth Theatre this year! We’re not just putting on an awesome play, but we’re also showcasing the amazing movies created by our NYT Teen Film Classes! ??
That’s right! We’ll be showing their fantastic films on a big screen in the main theater! Get ready to giggle, gasp, and have a blast watching these incredible creations! ??️
