Canada Day at The Forks

Join us on July 1 for Canada Day at The Forks – a day filled with reflection and celebration! Enjoy vibrant cultural performances, teachings, and workshops curated with 2Spirits Building from Within and Tunngasugit – Winnipeg Urban Inuit, the finale of Basketball Manitoba weekend-long tournament, skateboard workshops and demos with Pitikwe Skatepark and Graffiti Art Programming, dance battles with GeNie Baffoe, and fantastic live local music, curated with Manitoba Music. This year’s festivities will build upon the groundwork laid by The Forks over the last couple of years, marking this day more intentionally, through a lens of reconciliation. Come and experience a day filled with activities, cultural celebrations, and family fun as we kick off the summer on Canada Day at The Forks!
