Doors Open Winnipeg is in 2 weeks and I’ll be organizing once again the Friends of Vaughan Street Jail crew for the event! It’s free, no registration required, so no excuses for not visiting!!!! May 25-26th, 9:00 start time and last tour begins at 4:15pm. Don’t let the line ups scare you away as there is entertainment and history before you enter! River City Syncopaters are returning too!
Grab a t-shirt, noose jewelry, books by Kristen Treusch about the jail’s history or by Matthew Komus who wrote 2 books about ghosts!! There’s much to see and do! Oh and there are other buildings too FYI!
