Explore Winnipeg’s queer history with local cultural historian Britt Bauer. Britt is a queer and neurodivergent classics/anthropology PhD student with an interest in historical queer relationships and meeting places. This walking tour highlights a handful of key locations in Winnipeg’s Downtown and Exchange District that have served as safe spaces for diverse people at various points in time. The meeting place is at 130 Main Street in Upper Fort Garry Saturday, June 8. We hope to see you there!
