There’s something electric in the air this spring, and it’s not just the return of patio season. The Winnipeg Jets are deep in the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and if you live at 300 Main, you’re not just witnessing the excitement, you’re living in the middle of it.
The Whiteout isn’t just a playoff tradition. It’s a civic ritual. And it hits differently when downtown is your backyard.

A comeback for the ages
The Jets come into Round 2 riding high off one of the most dramatic Game 7s in franchise history, a double-overtime win over the St. Louis Blues that had fans (and half the building) holding their breath. Down 3–1 in the third, the team clawed their way back with two goalie-pulled goals, the tying shot scored with just 2.2 seconds left in regulation.
Captain Adam Lowry sealed the deal in double overtime, sending the Canada Life Centre into a frenzy and launching the Jets into a high-stakes second round against the Dallas Stars.

Why it matters here
If you live at 300 Main, you already know what it feels like to be steps from the pulse of the city. But during the playoff season, that energy levels up.
From spontaneous street parties after wins to the buzz around the Whiteout parties just blocks away, downtown becomes the heartbeat of the playoff run. You can hear the horns, the cheers, the crowds, all from your balcony or on your walk home from work.
This isn’t just a sports story. It’s a downtown story. And if you live here, it’s yours too.
